Young People Create is committed to empowering youth through art that cultivates a unique voice.

Currently we are not offering programs but are seeking opportunities for funding. This program was funded in the August 2020 with fiscal support from DesignXRI and Rhode Island Department of Education. We also received training and mentorship from Partners of Youth Empowerment.

LET’S MAKE THIS SUMMER INSPIRED

Young People Create is committed to empowering youth through art that cultivates a unique voice.

Do you want to delve into your artistic interests? Come join this creative online studio and learn media making basics. Learn skills like creating storyboards, DIY prop + set design, improv basics, writing for visual storytelling and much more. This online studio will be led by working artists for ages 10-13.

This two-week summer camp is a drop-in program, so you can come to as many sessions as you would like. This will be a great way to delve into your interests, work on your art skills, connect to like-minded peers, and make awesome artwork! AND ITS TOTALLY FREE!
